About
We’ve been coordinating with the city of Santa Rosa to update the two existing courts at Finley and in 2025/2026 expanding them to FOUR COURTS.
Phase One is that we’ll be installing the nice nets and Monson Sliders on Sunday. If you want to come get a first look at the courts, stop by and help us drill a few holes and tie a few knots starting at 1:00 and maybe play a bit afterwards. (ALL FUNDS WERE RAISED SEPARATELY & SPECIFICALLY FOR THIS PROJECT. NO FUNDS FROM RAGLE FUNDRAISING WILL BE USED FOR THIS SATELLITE PROJECT).
Phase Two is the city maintenance and planning departments collaborating to rototill the existing compacted sand. We’ll then put 21 tons of sand on the existing courts and disperse so they are safe to play on.
Phase 3 is for the SR planning department to convert the two courts to four courts (rotated 90 degrees) and use the existing footprint and sand to offset their cost of demolition, materials, and installation.
