Run Talk Run exists to make both running and mental health support less intimidating and more accessible. A friendly, free and supportive group, Run Talk Run Bearsden is a safe and open space to talk about how you are doing : the good times, the not so good and everything in between. Whilst we chat we run/jog 5km. We generally run through the Garscube estate which is a nice off road route. We don't care about speed or pace and nobody is left behind...whether you are a seasoned marathon runner or are coming along for your first bit of exercise in a while everybody is welcomed and encouraged.
If you are thinking about coming along for the first time but are worried about the running, or the conversations, please don't be. Our run is really gentle, if we walk for abit then that's fine (it's easier to chat that way!). AS much as conversations around mental health are encouraged and expected, there is no pressure to talk about anything you don't want to - if you want to just come along and listen to other runners you are welcome just the same.
